Like Sinek says in the video, “It’s the leader that sets the tone.”
Sinek also mentions Charlie Kim of NEXTJump: who doesn’t hire employees, instead they “adopt” them. Instead of firing under-performers, they coach them. In fact, they interview for humility for 45 minutes – with a thumbs up or thumbs down despite brilliance and resume. (Minutes 23-30 are great, but the whole thing is good).
